Challenge

Established Canadian jeweller, Birks, has a broad spectrum of clientele, with 13 stores across Canada. Surprisingly, Birks had never executed television in the Canadian market. The challenge was to establish the brand in this medium.

 

SLK Solution

Develop a communications strategy to define the brand as ‘magic’ to viewers. The tagline "Think Outside The Box" was developed, and integrated in print. The result was a contemporary cinematic spot with a music video edge. The campaign aired on select channels and programs to capitalize on Canadian’s current trends in television viewing.
